Title: Towards Standardizing Education: Specific Dispositions for Educators and its Impact on Teacher Efficacy

Abstract: The increasing importance on standardizing education and enhancing key areas calls for immediate attention on various spheres of development in the profession. Of the several strides to be fulfilled, the educator domain is focused in this paper. A set of ten professional characteristics is identified through a wide literature survey. As the quality of Teacher Efficacy has a direct and major impact on student achievement and student motivation, the impact of these characteristics on teacher efficacy is ascertained through a research study that identifies characteristics requiring attention, to develop educator performance.
